For those who are not, musical scales are written in octaves where the top (first) note is the same as the bottom (8th) but at an octave higher. If you’re a musician, you’ll be familiar with the 7 different notes in an octave. But thanks to its association with many important situations and events – in nature, history, science, literature, films and even music – many have been left believing this digit holds a tremendous amount of luck. Just like 13’s bad reputation, there’s no proof that the number 7 provides any player or game with good fortune. In many cultures, the number 13 is considered to be a famously unlucky number, while the number 7 is associated with luck – and we’re talking way before slots or blackjack was even a thing! Why? What is so lucky about the number 7? Although they are generally associated with hard facts, the concept of “luck” or “unluckiness” is also a large part of the influence numbers hold in our everyday life, and throughout history. They required masks inside the casino and took our temperatures at the door.Numbers date as far back as 20,000 years ago, when the earliest evidence of counting was discovered. The restaurant was take-out only due to Covid and had typical West Coast prices for typical American dishes. The casino is small, the section closest to the RV lot is the smoking section. It wasn’t as quiet as being in the woods by yourself but it was pretty close to it! There was almost no noise during the night due to the RV lot being behind the main parking lot. You don’t need to check in with security, but it sounds like they’ll ask you to leave if you’re here more then 3 days. All the other vehicles there were high end (brand new Sprinters and travel trailers).
There were plenty of spots available when we arrived at 8pm, and had a mix of pull through and regular parking spots.
The RV lot is well-marked, level, and monitored by security. The buildings and grounds are nice and tidy, but this isn’t a 5-star resort. This is a paved parking lot at a middle of the road casino on the 101, a few minutes before the Oregon border.
